dpemd Posted December 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2019 Does anyone know what nights evening chic are on the Edge eastern itinerary? Is it better to dine in Luminae on those nights and save non evening chic nights for specialty dining? Thanks
jelayne Posted December 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2019 We feel that the food in Luminae is better than the specialty restaurants. So on a 7 day cruise we probably wouldn’t do any specialty restaurants. Longer itineraries we might do 1 or 2. We didn’t care for the Eden menu, Fine Cut Steakhouse was very good but terribly noisy, LPC is good but a structured/timed meal , everyone starts & finishes each course at the same time.

We were thinking of doing LPC. Was it worth it?

It was worth it to us only for the novelty because we had never done it before and we had non-refundable OBC to use up. The presentation was entertaining at first, watching animated characters projected on to your plates and table, but that soon wore off and became just more of the same. The attraction there was the animation, not the food. We were there on the steak night, and they seemed to have issues with quality control as there were mixed reactions to the steaks. Some people received steaks that were tender and tasty while others got steaks that were tough and chewy. The menu was extremely limited, in disappointing contrast to the wide variety of food choices that had been available there previously at Qsine. We greatly prefer the food and service in Luminae. So for us LPC was also once and done. There are so many other, more tempting ways for us to throw away that non-refundable OBC.😀 Edited December 27, 2019 by varoo
