Vegetarian Food Options

I have read mixed reviews of the vegetarian options available. I am not vegan but do not eat either meat or fish 

I would be interested in peoples experiences in this good or bad as we are thinking of booking the 11 night round trip Bergen/Kirkenes/Bergen

.. or you can consider a 7 night northbound from Bergen to Kirkenes and combine it with additional days in Oslo and Bergen - possible the train ride from Oslo to Bergen combined with a 'Norway in a Nutshell' from Flåm. Personally I do find the 11 nights "too much of the same" - so far I have only done the Bergen to Kirkenes once and no T/R - but several partially harbour-to harbour journeys - next is midsummer 2020 from Svolvær to Kirkenes.

My query was specifically about vegetarian food whereby I do not eat fish or meat - I have no problem with eggs or dairy.

Breakfast and lunch is buffet - should not cause problems for a vegetarian- Dinner is either buffet or a set menu - in Norway fish is very common - also for the dinner menus - however one vegetarian set menu during the voyage.

- probably a good idea to contact the ship once booked and prior to your journey. All ships does have an e-mail for contact. Also note that the ships are quite different - menu offerings are the same for most ships.
