Move over , you go to a completely different cruise; move down, you move from your stateroom on the same cruise to a lesser state room on the same cruise (say from a minisuite to an oceanview)

Why would anyone want to Move Down.....unless there are real perks for doing so....like a free future cruise?

some have reported that you get the cruise fare you paid as REFUNDABLE on board credit for the cruise, which if you don't fully use, you get a check back a few weeks or so after the cruise
