Princess cabins - is there a freezer?

Just wondering if the mini fridge in the Princess cabins have a freezer.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to make my own ice cubes with bottled water. I once got extremely ill from drinking water I wasn't used to. I will just chill my glass.

As 'voluntr57' said - no freezer and usually the fridges aren't very cold. We refer to them as 'cool boxes'.

Doesn't sound promising. I might need that bucket of ice from the staff to sit my drink in! 😋

We take our own wine (and pay the corkage) so need to get the bottle cold before taking it to the dining room. Sometimes we might have one bottle a quarter full as well. The fridge just doesn't make white wine cold enough. We have the steward supply us with a bucket of ice, but to make things easier in future, I intend to take a small collapsible cooler bag as a second ice bucket. We keep the ice bucket + wine in the fridge.

Agreed, we call them coolers rather than fridges.

Temps are closer to 7-10 C, fine for white wine or a soft drink but not really for dairy.

I keep the bucket of ice in the “fridge” to help cool it. Also makes the ice last longer. Also keep the cupboard door open.
