Hi, all!  In three weeks, we'll be returning from our cruise on Carnival.  We'll disembark by 9 or 10, and our flight isn't until 9:30 pm out of MCO.  Does anyone have any recommendations for things to do before our flight?

There will be six of us and the ages are 45, 24, 24, 15, 13 and 13 months.   Thanks!!

Not much near the airport - I agree with the above suggestion for KSC or hit the beach, etc. near Port Canaveral and then head to the airport later in the day.

If you just want a relaxing day at a hotel (pool, spa, etc.) check resortpass.com or between9and5.com for hotels/resorts offering passes to their pool/spa facilities, or hotels offering day rates.

Disney Springs or the outlet malls are an option if you want shopping and dining options.

The Florida Mall is near the airport and has the Crayola Experience and a Disney store, plus an M&M store (which will be closing sometime this year and moving to Disney Springs).

There's a movie theater just north of the airport on Semoran Blvd, along with some shops and restaurants.

Or you can get a day room at the Hyatt at the airport.

you have sufficient time to do justice to a KSC visit .... they close at 6 or 7 depending on time of the year leaving plenty of time to get to the airport without feeling shorted

Most of the other things mentioned are not going to fill the day as well IMO, but Disney Springs IS viable .....

your problem IMO is group size.  5 adults plus a child seat means room for 6 adults PLUS luggage ......

want to rent a full size van?  Two regular cars?  Bringing a car seat?

You could UBER  but what to do with bags and car seat??????

Your EASY out is cruise transfer to MCO and day room at the airport Hyatt

There are some other 'local attractions' that I can recommend IF you have your own transportation <or are willing to hire a car for the full day ... aka a limo which will charge by the hour>
