What are some of your favorite ship excursions? Please do share ...

So many awesome excursions offered from the ship but our personal favorite is the Drift snorkel on Tahaa. Love the setting, the abundance of fish/coral and Mt. Otemanu as a backdrop 14 miles away.

We didn’t book more than a few excursions with the PG but on Moorea, we enjoyed getting out past the reef with Dr Poole dolphin experience..and we saw a lot of dolphins..for us the sunset sail and snorkel tour on Moorea were disappointing, but honestly that was four years ago so I’m sure it has changed...we are back in the fall and will book a few excursions using our on board credit...prefer to book our own when we can

We book a combination of ship and private but the drift snorkel on Tahaa can only be booked through the ship. We've done a private tour of the drift snorkel but that is when we were on Raiatea.

Any advice on Tahiti Iti? We depart in 3 weeks and I still haven't decided what we should there...

Have only rented a car and seen only a small part of Iti  .... This December I'll get to see it from the PG stop.

As long as you can maneuver yourself in moving water you will be fine. The water pushes you along, you just need to feel capable of steering yourself 😉
