2019/2020 entry fees to Petra for cruise passengers?

Chances are I will go by taxi to Petra for our April 2020 port visit and trying to confirm amount of money to change. Does anyone know the actual cost for cruise passenger entry?  Website states 'visit on first day of entry to Jordan' is 90 JD.  Wikitravel says rates for cruisers so the same as the normal 50 JD entry fee.

I'm not sure why the entry fee would be different for cruise ship passengers since you are going on your own by taxi.  It is a very interesting place!!

The entrance fee to Petra is 50 JD pp - when arrival on cruise ship you do not pay for visa.

Has nothing to do with visa. What isn't clear is where a one day port visit put me in details below....from the Petra website. Accommodated visitor, non accommodated visitor, are we considered as visiting on the first day in Jordon......not clear cut.

 

1. Fees for the accommodated visitor: Visitor who stays at least one night in Jordan.

Entrance Ticket	Price
One  Day	50 (J.D)
Two  Days	55 (J.D)
Three days	60 (J.D)

Fees for the accommodated visitor who visits Petra in the first day of his /her arrival from the border

Entrance Ticket:          90 JD - 40 JD = 50 JD

* For the accommodated visitors who visit Petra in the first day of their arrival from the borders they will pay the border ticket fees(90JD) and return in the next day to get a refund of 40 JD

 

2. Fees for non-accommodated visitor:

Entrance Ticket:  (90 JD)
