On Board Credit on Encore

Looking for info from anyone who has cruised the new Norwegian Encore. I would like to purchase my teens $100 On Board Credit certificates so they don't have to ask before doing things while putting an actual budget in their hands. Does anyone know if this credit can be used for activities such as Go Karts, Galaxy Pavilion, Laser Tag and/or Starbucks, Coco's and The Bake Shop? Haven't cruised before so not sure how this On Board Credit actually works..

Everything is charged to your room account. They do not explicitly “spend” OBC.

Things like laser tags and go karts must be booked as soon as you embark, they will sell out for the entire cruise early on embarkation day, so you can’t be “figuring it out” once you board.

May I tag on here and ask about using it in the casino.
We have OBC that was purchased and sitting in our account for our first day.
If my dh goes to the casino, can he give his card and get the chips he needs to play?

Thank you.

Good to know! I appreciate all the tips I can get! One more dumb question --- where do I go to book their activities? I'm hoping there are several kiosks or help desks on board so there's not a huge line and waste of time waiting to book..

There are touch screens on each floor near the elevator lobbies as well as in the Atrium.  I will add it is a good idea to download the NCL app as this can be used as well. In Miami, I was able to connect to the ship wifi network while still in the boarding waiting room and make some reservations.
