We cashed in credit card points for onboard credit for our April cruise on Freedom of the Seas. Anyone know how long it takes to post the credit in the cruise planner?  Seems like I remember them posting before the cruise on our last cruise a couple of years ago?  In the old days you did not see them until day two of the actual cruise.   Thanks in advance for your input.

They post the points for OBC around 3 weeks before the cruise.

 

You can try calling the redemption people at 888-305-4626 to ask them to post sooner if you want to use it in your Cruise Planner.  However there have been some reports of refusing this.

Ours almost always show up about a week before sailing.  As Bob suggested, we have requested to have OBC available sooner, but was advised they cannot or will not do that.

My cruise is in feb.. and I just redeemed more points.. I redeemed them on a saturday and they showed up in my cruise planner on tues of the following week..

But however... I redeemed points back in 2018 for my feb 2020 cruise and I wanted to use them for purchases on my cruise planner.. and I called in Feb 2019 and my points showed on my cruise planner within 48 hours..

Anyone know where the points show up in the planner once posted?  The planner has changed since we have sailed last?  Thanks

It will just up as OBC when you log in

It will be at the very top of the page, just to the right of center.
