Explorer of the Seas - Advice Requested

Upon boarding, where's a nice place to go to get a drink and watch the human masses as they get acclimated to the ship (preferably outside to enjoy the tropical weather)? j (both around the crowds, or an out of the way place to chill)

 

Additional tips for places to stake out during the cruise ... such as the solarium pool or one of the lounges in the atrium ... where do people go to chill while crowd watching?

Best place would be the pub on the ROyal Promenade, but that is inside.

Or, one of the pool bars...that's where folks tend to congregate in good weather, prior to sail away!

We like to go all the way to the top.  The lounge area overlooking the pool decks.  Forget the name...Dizzys maybe.  Used to be the Viking Crown Lounge.

Once underway, I enjoyed the R bar for a quiet before dinner cocktail....
