Edge aft cabins

Hi,  We have always loved the aft cabins.  We want to sail on The Edge but from the pics we see, it seems like the aft design on this ship makes it easier for people to look down on you.  I remember having a bit of an overhang when we were on deck 12 on the Solstice class.  Is it more flat now on the edge?  thanks

I don't recall seeing anyone look down on us on our Deck 7 middle balc.  There is a small overhang...we appreciated that as it was very sunny out there by day.  We did not use the balc as much as we thought we would...very sunny.  But the aft views by day and night was amazing!

What was your cabin number? We have 8314 in September and heard it may be a little bigger because it is dead center. How did you get a coveted lounge chair for your balcony?

We had a middle cabin on deck 9. The is a small overhang where you can not be seen. If you walk out to the edge of your balcony and look up you can be seen.

Hi Heather, we were on the same cruise midship between the two lifts.  How was the motion back there the first few days?  We have a deck 9 center SV booked on the Apex in November.  Thanks, Katie

No problem with motion. I enjoyed so much I booked the same cabin on the Apex for 2021. The middle divider can be open. We are cruising with friends so that will make for a large space to enjoy. Now if I can just get a comfy seat or even a lounge.
