Tabyana Beach West End Taxi or Bodden

I have been reading lots of good things about Bodden Tours- Is it better to hire them for the day or just take a taxi to the beach? There will be three of us in the group- are taxies readily available for the return trip if we do not have a driver waiting for us? Also, if we hire a driver there is a fourth person but the beach does not interest him- If we hire Bodden tours would they give us an island tour and then drop the fourth person back at the ship and take the rest of us to the beach for a couple of hours? Thanks
