MarLieb Posted February 2, 2020 #26 Share Posted February 2, 2020 I would dine in your suite or go to Luminae. Tuscan Grille is just ok, IMHO and the food at LPC was not good. The food and service in Luminae is top notch and, as this is the suites-only restaurant, the wait staff will get to know you over the course of the cruise and will treat you like gold. We loved Luminae so much on our last cruise that we ended up outright canceling our Tuscan Grille reservation. You will not need a reservation for Luminae. If you choose to dine there for your anniversary celebration, I would simply alert the maitre d' prior to that evening so they can be prepared to help you celebrate. If you would like to eat at Tuscan Grille or LPC, you should try to make that reservation prior to embarkation, though your butler can also help you with reservations once you board. katiegirl1264 Posted February 2, 2020 #27 Share Posted February 2, 2020 LPC (le petit chef) is super fun/special. Maybe its the room being on the same timing or the fact that its so unique. We celebrated there and just laughed and had a great time. it was one of the best experiences we've had at any restaurant let alone at sea. evitacruiser Posted February 2, 2020 #28 Share Posted February 2, 2020 We will board Silhouette on our 39th Anniversary and much as the LPC appeals I wonder if the fact that we are missing from the first night 'get to know everyone' dinner table will be an issue? We also enjoyed the LPC and go on it where available, on all of the Celebrity ships.
PelicanLvr Posted February 2, 2020 #30 Share Posted February 2, 2020 OP asked for "the best romantic ambiance". IMHO, a group party at LPC or eating in one of the venues you can eat in all week is not the answer. Like many here I also suggest a lovely quiet romantic dinner out on your veranda. See the stars and listen to the sounds of the ocean as the ship cruises....and it's February! Talk to your butler in advance. Ask for any combination of restaurant items you like. They will make it happen. Don't forget to have the butler take pictures...it will be a great evening!
