amypintx Posted February 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2020 For those who have used Fly2Fun, were you able to manage your tickets through the airline's website or only through the Fly2Fun site? I got a free trial to AA's platinum status so if I purchase through them, I can pick the "main cabin extra" seats for free but Fly2Fun doesn't know that (of course) so I can only pick regular economy. My question is, if I book through Fly2Fun (it's $300pp cheaper for the exact same flights) could I then pull up my reservation on AA and pick new seats with the elite perks??? Has anyone been able to do this?
zorky12 Posted February 5, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2020 I can pull mine up on American Airlines by the record locator but it doesn’t give me any option to make changes

That's exactly what I needed to know.
Schoifmom Posted February 5, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2020 When you use F2F, your flights aren't ticketed until 75 days prior to your trip (at least I'm pretty sure it's 75 days). At that time, you should be able to upgrade seats on the AA website.
rukkian Posted February 5, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2020 I was able to get to mine on Delta right away, and move seats around. The price was less than the cheap seat through Delta that did not allow you to choose your seat.
