xkritter Posted March 11, 2020 #26 Share Posted March 11, 2020 We will be at Harvest Cay today and have been told we are tendering. We have also been told to expect delays because of increased sanitizing. They will be sanitizing the tenders after each group...so the tender will load...go to HC...be sanitized...load...go to ship....be sanitized...

We stayed until 11:45 and them headed back to ship for lunch. $7 for a bottle of water. we got tender #1 in morning. Sorry if this is a dumb question. How do they determine what tender # you get? However, the answer may seem complicated! Basically, you have "priority" (earlier tenders) IF: a)Haven, b)Latitudes seniority, c) have an NCL booked excursion ...and so on. If none of the above, you will be on a later tender. I hope this helped.

MrsKC08 Posted March 11, 2020 #30 Share Posted March 11, 2020 Just there last week, and we tendered. Honestly, it will probably be a while because we didn't see a soul working on it all day and it was a beautiful sun shiny day. They are definitely taking their time.
Buckeye10640 Posted March 11, 2020 #31 Share Posted March 11, 2020 We tendered last week and were on the island by 8am. Pretty much just walked right on the tender. Took our own water from the ship. Bought a few soft drinks and ate lunch in one of the restaurants. FYI soft drinks are less expensive in the restaurants than from the drink carts. 3CanadianBears Posted March 12, 2020 #32 Share Posted March 12, 2020 We also tendered there last week. Booked a group 2 tender, though no one ever checked groups - we just walked right on. Well organized at 8:30am when we were on the tender. Glad we went early, as we got loungers with an umbrella. The tenders are large, coming back we again walked right on. Waiting area on Harvest Caye is in the shade if you do have to wait. Water with ice in a plastic glass is free at both the bars and Landahark.
Paris334 Posted March 15, 2020 #33 Share Posted March 15, 2020 It's really interesting how different peoples experiences have been. Our cruise, in general, was a port disaster for tenders. In Cozumel we lost most of our excursion time waiting for tenders - over 4 hours that day waiting around. I'm really glad that it's been much better for others on some trips.
