Beach chairs

Sailing on Wind Star next month.  Anyone know if ship can provide beach chairs for day trips?

I have never heard of them providing beach chairs.  They will pack a lunch for you, however, and they provide beach towels.

We've been able to check out complimentary snorkel gear for the week but didnt see any indication that beach chairs were availabile. Maybe ask the tour desk when you arrive.

I haven't seem any sign of beach chairs, other that when it's an organized WS event when they drag all sorts of stuff on shore.

 

Packing a lunch, yes although unless we're going to some very secluded spot with no services we actually enjoy the "break" from WS and would much rather just get something from the beach shack serving up chow. Usually delicious.

Just back from Star Pride.  There were no chairs to borrow.  We usually rent at the beach, from $5 (St. Maarten) to 40 euros (St. Bart) depending on where you go.  See Ports of Call section or Trip Advisor to find beaches and prices.  There are packable chairs (Back Jack or inflatables from Amazon) or depending on where you start the cruise and if you are arriving early, you might be able to purchase (CVS, Walgreens, Dollar Store in San Juan) and then leave at the last beach you visit for someone else to adopt.  One other thought, if you tender at a lot of ports, it might be challenging to board the tender with chairs.  We had strong winds and some pretty bouncy tender boardings two weeks ago.
