Booking direct with Viking

Booked on board would be direct with Viking. Gratuities included seems to be usual with UK ships these days. The long queues at the pursers to cancel automatic tips must have told a tale to the cruise lines. Cultural and economic differences at large. 

Drinks package not commonly included, certainly not by Viking. OBC to be negotiated. Some people are not comfortable bargaining and the sales staff know that.

We did Alaska last year. 2 tender ports, handled very well, certainly not a reason to not book.

Viking have now done a whole season in Alaska, they have learnt abd ironed oyt the wrinkles.

It's the Alaska cruise we're off on in July. Really looking forward to it but can't help worrying if we'll actually be able to go. This virus just hangs over so many plans for us all. 🙁
