post cruise excursion

Has anyone done the Hop on Hop off Bus or the water tour of the city post cruise excursions in Fort Lauderdale? We will be getting off the Independence of the Seas and will have 7-8 hours to kill before heading to the airport. These 2 excursions seem to take the most time. Any thoughts or advice appreciated!

You can do the water taxi on your own without going through the cruise line.  www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area tourist info.

Fort Lauderdale doesn't have a designated Hop On/Hop Off bus service but the Sun Trolley can be hailed anywhere along its routes for $1/ride or $3/day pass (www.suntrolley.com).
