Tracey.kinney425 Posted March 6, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2020 Ok so I need some clarification. I currently have a rate of 1279 with a 50 obc. I show a price reduction to 1229 but I lose my obc. My understanding is I'll lose the original obc but have it replaced with a new obc of 50 for the amount of the price reduction because our cruise is paid off. Is this correct? Cruising_Addict Posted March 6, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2020 In this case, there’s no reason to do a price match because effectively, the outcome is the same. Your current price of $1,279 less the $50 OBC you are receiving equals a $1,229 net price of your cruise. Same as what you are trying to match to. So there’s no savings here. Yeah, just seems like extraneous work unless price goes down some more.

But you’ll also be entitled to any OBC the new rate comes with. Make sure you compare port fees and taxes too because sometimes they change with a new offer too.
