Rare mexicobob Posted March 11, 2020 #26 Share Posted March 11, 2020 I have not received any offers, but have not cruised with Carnival in a couple of years. Have also not seen the great rates I was expecting to find when searching any cruise line. Glad someone is getting a good deal. Will keep looking though, as things do not look good for the cruise lines.

Out of curiosity I logged out of my account to see what regular rates are for someone that just wanted to book my same cruise without any offers. My same cruise interior is $564 PP, ocean view $719 PP, balcony $1,059 PP. These rates exclude port tax per each person which is an additional $101.34 PP. Seems high to me when I know all cruise lines are doing everything they can to fill the ships as much as possible! Those rates are insane!

I personally play blackjack betting anywhere between $25.00 to $100.00 a hand. I despise slot machines but you do rack up points quickly there then you do at table games. I would say I play about 80% table games and 20% slots. When I do play slots I am max betting the machine to get as many points per spin. The way I look at it if I lose I am prepaying for a future vacation and you are going to spend the money one way or the other :-D! Thank you for your reply! Seems like alot of people got these so I was curious.
4133raw Posted March 12, 2020 #29 Share Posted March 12, 2020 I have a lot of cheap cruises in my VIFP area on Carnival website. Go to Carnival... click on today's deals on top of page..put in VIFP # and it gives you your deals. EXCLUSIVE LAST MINUTE OFFER: lots of cruises FROM $10pp/w $100obc. March and April from many different ports. I have only cruises once with Carnival in 2016 and played slots. Got drinks on us card on 5th or 6th night. I posted on another topic but it was closed. They said the offer had expired? but my offer still shows up and says I have until March 31st to book. I had to use Crome because IE won't work. Also there are over 30 free inside rooms comped cruises in my offers from urcomped and I have never even used them before. You might look on there! Cool Cruiser that was my best the EXCLUSIVE LAST MINUTE OFFER. I also had a HOT STREAK BONUS offer for the same cruise that gave me a $500.00 OBC instead of the $100 OBC but the price was absurdly higher. Made more sense to me to book the EXCLUSIVE LAST MINUTE and pay pennies on the dollar for the balcony room 🤑

When I returned I checked my email and had a pretty fantastic last minute casino offer from Carnival on the Glory that left the following day for another 7 nights. I asked this great community if they would consider taking back to back cruises if they had the means to do so with less than 24 hours notice. Many of you agreed it be crazy to pass up! Between exhaustion and just wanting to sleep in my own bed I decided not to take the offer 😭. When I woke up that Sunday I instantly regretted not waking up at sea! I just checked my Carnival offers as they change quite frequently. Currently I have an offer for a 7 night Eastern Caribbean on the Carnival Glory leaving out of New Orleans on March 15th with stops in Key West, Nassau and Freeport. While I have been to all 3 of these ports I will NEVER be able to cruise for this cheap again and might as well take advantage of it! $40.00 interior. $90.00 oceanview. $120.00 FOR A BALCONY! Any cabin I book also comes with a $100.00 on-board credit. Usually I stay in an interior room as I don't spend much time in the cabin but for $80.00 more for a balcony room I couldn't pass up and just booked this trip leaving out on Sunday ☺️. My total came to $233.64 plus I have a $100.00 stateroom credit. Simple math by including the $100.00 stateroom credit is I just paid $133.64 for a balcony room on a 7 night cruise. Is this real life 😲? Anyone else seen anything come across their VIFP offers they couldn't pass up? This was a casino offer? Because I never get those kind of offers. Sounds super! Have fun! We just sailed the Glory in February and had a great time!

Have fun! We just sailed the Glory in February and had a great time! Yes it was a last minute exclusive casino offer! The last time I sailed with Carnival was April of 2018 on the Ecstacy. I have read great things about the Glory and looking forward to setting sail in a few days! While I understand cruising is for everyone including families, the one thing I will say about Carnival is I thoroughly enjoy the Serenity Deck. While on RCL Majesty of the Seas the hot tubs were always full of kids. Edited March 12, 2020 by Will4Reals

The majority of ships have a bed and sofa bed. I'm solo so dont need the beds to push together. But I tried for hours and now I cant click to show offers for my vipf #. Keeps asking if I have one. That's why I started my question as a separate thread. I'm wondering if it's my android tablet or what. But I cant even see offers for hours now I purposely didnt show my number but right below it I click to show the deals for my vipf #. See where it says on deals? Dont have a vipf #. I can no longer get in to even see deals. Android issue, carnival site? Anyone else having issues? I was getting this same thing when using Chrome. I switched to MS Edge, and it worked fine.
