Booking on Board

Yes I know I should call Oceania for this one and probably will but wanted to check it out with you seasoned O travellers first.

 

We booked a balcony cruise on board and got a reduced deposit, a reduction in price and obcs.

 

We have since changed it to an inside cabin. Our TA says we have lost all, no reduction in price, no obcs.

 

Anyone verify that there is NO reduction in price when booking an inside, even if you book on board.

Yes - book onboard deal is only for higher than "inside" cabin categories (can't remember if Ocean View can get it either. B and above definitely get it.

Now what you need to check on is (if you took the added SBC for the cruise during which you did the booking) is if they'll take it back from the credit card you used.

Oceanview staterooms get some benefits.  When we booked on board recently, an un-obstructed oceanview was $25pp more than an inside because of the benefits not applying to the insides.

We booked insides for two 2021 cruises and received $300 OBC for use on each of those. It was a special promo at the time only available on board.
