Princess Cruises Data Breach

Assuming you didn't see the news stories, what was breached was internal corporate emails.


Many of the emails were between team members working on customer accounts and so included PII (Personally Identifiable Information), which might include name, address, phone #, ID#s (like drivers license), etc.

I was cleaning out an old AOL email account that I no longer use and I found all the pre-cruise promotional emails from my recent cruise as well as at least 3 instructional emails that I had requested on specifics on how to upload information for the Medallion.  My booking information had been sent to the correct email. I wondered why we literally never heard anything from Princess from when I booked the cruise in December to when we left on Feb 2..
