Extra FCC

I think, based on what I've read, the "100%" FCC can be used in pieces and for excursions and other expenses, but only for a new booking.  The extra 25% or 50% has to be used all at once but can be used to pay on an existing cruise.

But your mileage may vary - sometimes it depends on who you talk to. I was about to try to apply my 25% to an existing cruise but that cruise appears to have been canceled - at least it no longer appears as an available cruise.

We re-booked and had quite a bit left over.  It shows up in the My Account section.  We were told that when it comes time to book excursions, we just call NCL & use that leftover credit for the excursions or any other pre-cruise purchases.

I had a fairly large FCC and used it to;

1. first pay in full 1 cruise

2. then make a large deposit on a 2nd cruise, leaving a small amount owing

3. then I rec'd an add'l am't which I will use whichever way I want.

I guess what that means is that as long as you use the FCC prior to the expiration date, it is good for "whatever"....

Hope it works out well for you too.

Cheers

Anyone knows what happens if you rebook a cruise which is less than your total FCC? Do you lose the extra FCC?

My new reservation booking shows a credit balance at this point and I still think they have not applied some FCC.  I have a call in to my PCC to do over the details.
