Can you cancel a cruise & apply the refundable deposit to a new cruise ? Based upon many posts here it seems that refunds take at least 30 Days AND WE WOULD LIKE TO ARRANGE A NEW CRUISE NOW without putting up more money.

From my experience you would not want to cancel your current cruise.

What you want to do is either call your TA or Celebrity and have them "CHANGE" your reservation (maintaining same reservation number) to a different cruise.   As long as you are before cancellation date you may be able to retain any benefits you obtained by booking while on-board etc.    Your perks may be changed depending on what is currently being offered.
