gailc Posted February 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2006 If the cruiseline is booking your flights, are you able to go to the airline's website & pick out your seats? I know that we have been able to pick our seats through our TA for some of our cruises. Gail
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2006 In most instanced you get ticketed around the time the final cruise documents are issued. At that point in time either your TA or you can request your seats from the airline directly.
jame_g Posted February 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2006 I wasn't able to log into the airline's website initially because nothing provided by the cruise line was sufficient for identifying the reservation. However, I was able to call the airline directly and they were able to look up my reservation number. Then I was able to get into the website and select my seating assignments. Having the reservation number also came in handy for check in using the kiosks. I don't know why they didn't just include this information on the cruise docs and make everything easier! wrp96 Posted February 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2006 With American, I didn't even need a reservation #, all I needed was my flight number to be able to pull up my cruise line booked air and change my seats. You have to have an Advantage membership to do so, but it's not hard to set up.
