Prices of excursions and beverage packages seem to be falling...for a possible upcoming cruise...

 

can you book these, and cancel if price falls further ...rebook etc...can you cancel completely if you cancel the cruise...

Yes to all of your questions.  I booked the VOOM for a cruise, and the price dropped twice.  I just cancelled and rebooked.  It took around 3-5 days to get my cancellation fee returned.   I always keep checking on prices once I booked in my Cruise Planner since they have specials around the holidays. 🍷

Thanks...the saving on the drinks package is around £450 pounds for the back to back cruises..happy to pay that now..but worried that we may have to cancel because of covid, accept losing the deposit but don’t want to lose another £900..if that makes sense..l

It does make sense but you don't have to worry. Cruise planner purchases aren't like your deposit. If you cancel your cruise those purchases will be automatically refunded to the card you used to pay for them.
