Newspapers?

This might sound like a stupid question, but do they have any daily newspapers on board? Not that I'm desperate for all the depressing outside news while on vacation, but I don't mind perusing a paper occasionally if the're available.

I dont think so - they do have CNN to keep up on all the happenings

in the library they have daily news from the new york times.

I didn't see a single newspaper for the entire 7 days of my cruise.

No, there are no newspapers. As the previous poster said, they have a short 4 page synopsis of the news that they get from the New York Times that you can get from the library. I suppose if you want it bad enough, on port days you can go and purchase a newspaper.

I always bring 1 or 2 fresh copies of USA Today with me. After a day at sea it's fun to bring a copy to the pool deck (in the shade) and leave it on the table we're sitting at.

 

Strangers stop by and ask where I got it.....tell them it was delivered under the door....or stop by the purser's desk.

They also have daily news summaries from various countries. We were pleased to see the Canadian news on Navigator last year.
