charlielinda Posted June 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Hey, can you find out if there are any groups on the October 15 Summit for me. Since I'm a bit large I'm just hoping that Richard Simmons isn't along for the cruise! Voyager of the Sea -- September 2001; Galaxy -- May 2002; Zuiderdam -- September 2003; Summit -- April 2004; CAN'T WAIT -- SUMMIT OCTOBER 2004
newtocc Posted June 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2004 There's a relatively small group of ex-convicts on that cruise, mostly pick pockets, and purse snatchers! Of course I'm just kidding, my group cruise search didn't come up with anything, but that's no guarantee, enjoy your cruise, that's what really matters, I always enjoy mine! bananavan Posted June 20, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 20, 2004 Newt, we do not wish to have you do our research. If you would show us the way, we should be able to find out the answer. I contacted Customer Care about my cruise, so far no answer. I do know that Pied Piper has a group going on the Summit July 23. They are celebrating Gay Pride. (I used the search feature on Google.) Mucho thanks for your help. Cruise Cat Posted June 20, 2004 #14 Share Posted June 20, 2004 This makes me wonder - What is the difference, in lbs, of all the cruisers after they leave the ship as compared to when they got on? If everyone gained just two pounds during their cruise, that is a difference of 3 tons on a 1500 passenger ship! Nitemare Posted June 21, 2004 #20 Share Posted June 21, 2004
quote:
This makes me wonder - What is the difference, in lbs, of all the cruisers after they leave the ship as compared to when they got on? Assuming we exercise a little on shore (so the sweat lands there, not on deck), and eat more on the ship than we do on land, there should be a net loss of weight on the cruise.
