BellsRUs Posted June 9, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2020 (edited) Hi everyone - We used to like to sail in the Caribe deck balcony cabins because the balconies were deeper and were partially in the shade from the deck above which overhung Caribe deck. Is that true for the Royal class ships? We haven't been in a port or starboard cabin on a Royal class ship - only in stern cabins. TIA! Patti No, the design of the Royal Class is completely different with no expanded balconies on Caribe Deck. In fact, most of the balconies on the Royal Class are "postage stamp" size with not even enough room to stretch out your legs unless you sit at an angle. skynight Posted June 9, 2020 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2020 As mentioned no. But if you examine the deck plans deck by deck you will find some balconies that are larger. The newest builds, Sky & Enchanted have more of these larger balcony cabins than the first Royal builds.
