rcontrera Posted June 16, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2020 (edited) We are booked in this cabin for next year and it is listed as accessible. However, we were booked in an accessible cabin on another ship and my 24" wheel chair didn't quite fit the door so I had to stand and fold up the chair to enter. Plus the room wasn't any roomier than the regular ones. Is this one actually a larger door and space inside? Rare VMax1700 Posted June 16, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2020 Did you look at the pictures on halfacts dot com? https://halfacts.com/s-class/ scroll down and there are three images of #704 The door does look wider and judging by the size of the wardrobe compared to the door, I feel you should be ok. But I am certain that a few experts will be along soon.
rcontrera Posted June 17, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted June 17, 2020 Those pictures are for the Statendam and I am looking for the Maasdam. Thanks, though.
Rare rafinmd Posted June 18, 2020 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2020 Statendam and Maasdam are virtually identical. You may be thinking of the Nieuw Statendam which is very different but all the Nieuw Statendam cabin numbers are at least 4 digits. Roy

As rafinmd writes, the Maasdam and (old) Statendam are virtually identical. Both are the same ship class. Those images are probably about as close as you will get to the actual room.
