Indeed it is. Any views on the two partly hidden cruise ships? I have no idea what they are, but one looks like a Mein Schiff.

That closest ship does look a lot like one of the Mein Schiff's We can rule out their latest builds (Mein Schiff 1 and 2). And Mein Schiff 6 looks a bit different on the top deck. Mein Schiff 3, 4 and 5 all look like possible matches. If you can supply the date of the photo that might help narrow it down further.

2016 QE Eastern Med cruise. I seem to remember the white ship might be Silverseas.

First off, I should correct my spelling. The name of the port is of course Piraeus, Greece. Wouldn't want to get docked any points for a spelling mistake. 🙂

According to wikipedia, Mein Schiff 5's maiden voyage was 16 July 2016, so depending on the month of your voyage, we may or may not be able to eliminate Mein Schiff 5 as a possibility.

I've come up empty so far trying to match what we have of that other cruise ship to any of the Silversea fleet.

I have just looked at my notes. The voyage was in October.  I have the ships down as Mein Schiff3, and possibly Siver Cloud.

Indeed. Their first (only?) meeting. But where?

Quoting from a Cunard press release:

"Cunard's Queen Elizabeth met HMS Queen Elizabeth for the first time on Thursday, Jul. 6, 2017 off the coast of Scotland. The rendezvous of the two ships, that share the same name and who were both christened by The Queen, took place in the Moray Firth off the coast of Scotland during Queen Elizabeth's 13-night tour of the British Isles."
