Does it matter?

Who on earth is going to decide to take a cruise based on the say so of the cruise line or indeed a politician.

We will decide to cruise when we feel that it is safe. At this point in time we would net even consider a November cruise.   We have the same amount of trust in both parties to place our health and safety at the top of the list.  That is...zero trust.

As you, I certainly have no interest in travel of any sort in the near future.

Regarding trust in a cruise line:  based upon what I have been reading, I have more "trust" in MSC because of what it is doing in Europe.

We have cruises booked in June and September of 2021, but I will be very curious to see posts from early cruisers on how Holland's first voyages are. No more big tables in the dining room? Rules on masks? Covid-19 testing before boarding? Vaccine requirements?

Mine is late July.  I think there will be monthly updates and changes.  What is said today will not affect you or me

I’ve already cancelled a February cruise and I’m hoping to keep July and August. With so many screaming that they want to cruise, I’m interested to see how successful they are so I know how I will proceed.
My initial thoughts were more along “it’s not safe when you bring Covid back to your community”. But at this point, people are already doing unsafe things so 🤷‍♀️
