FCC enhancement

If we use it to pay off our cruise in Apr 2023,we will still have some FCC left, can we use it on our Sept 2021 cruise?

I assume that Apr 2023 was a typo (FCC would be expired by then), but you have plenty of time between the Sep and Nov cruises and an Apr 2022 cruise for the FCC to be reissued if you don't get the excess FCC right away. Don't rush to apply the FCCs to any of the sailings, wait till around final payment time  - a lot less headaches should there be a price drop.

Thanks. Yes it was a typo, should be 2022.Usually wouldn't rush to apply as I know there could be price drops, but the cruises were pretty cheap so pretty sure there will be no price drops. Total for the Nov 2021 cruise was less then $1800 US for 3 of us in an OVB and we L&S'd an Allure April 2021 cruise to Symphony in 2022 for less then $2000 CAN for 2 of us in a OVB.

Great news.  You no longer have to wait until your cruise returns to apply the remaining FCC.

Enhancements have been made to the existing FCC process where any balance remaining on an FCC no longer has to await the return of the existing cruise vacation before applying the balance to a future/new reservation. That means the same FCC can now be redeemed on 2 active bookings! Once a portion of the FCC is applied to a reservation, the remaining balance FCC will be generated and, in turn, sent to your client for use as they wish. Please note that any FCC with a pending balance from the past few months will now be run through this process, with an anticipated completion date for all by end-of-October.

Can a FCC be applied to 2 bookings at the same time or do you have to wait for the new FCC ?  If you have to wait how long does it take to get the new one?

While they can do it if absolutely needed because of final payment dates it is best to wait.

the FCC will be reissued in about 2 weeks with a new FCC number and can then be applied.

if it is issued immediately then both FCC’s are tied together and changes to one cruise with the FCC could affect the other cruise.  By waiting the two FCC’s are independent.
