Stacking Carnival offers- ECHO + ELITE?

My Echo casino club offer says right on it that it can be stacked on another offer such as Elite, Premiere, etc.  Has anyone successfully tried that and if so, do you then get both piles of the casino cash/ free play or just one of the cash piles?  And another question regarding Echo offers, does that offer work on Australia cruises?
Oh, and one more question, how does the airport transportation offer work on those Elite, premiere etc. offers?  Is it car service or do they just put you on the bus with everyone else (and sit there and wait for the bus to fill before it leaves the curb....no thanks.  I prefer car service so that’s why I’m asking what YOUR experience has been with the complimentary airport (or parking) piece of the offer).

Thanks for indulging me while I try to forget about Covid and pretend I’m still going on my cruise!  Knock on (balcony railing) wood!!

Can only answer the transportation part of the question for you - it's a black car service just for you and your guest. The contracted driver will coordinate with you and work on your schedule. It's your choice if you want transportation to/from the airport or to/from your hotel. Since I like to fly in a day prior and stay an extra day post-cruise, I've chosen to and from the hotel. Both times I've used the service, they used black luxury SUVs and provided little touches like bottled water, gum, snacks, etc. Tipped each driver $20 since I'm not sure how much the driver actually gets. Hope that answered your question!

Is Echo and third party Cruise Casino Hosting company? I only know of URComped.

Echo is an offer from the players club, not a third party. I have only known one person who got an Echo offer. It was pre covid and for the life of me can't remember the details.

What kind of offer is it? Is it a lower level or higher level offer? My husband has been getting offers for years never received this type of offer. Even in their own website it states Elite is their best offers which he gets and we book the most often (Next one is on the Celebration Thanksgiving Week in a Spa Balcony!!!)

@kwokpot (sorry, forgot to quote you) It's the highest of highest IMO. If I see the person who got the offer I'll ask if they remember all the perks. I know it was from the players club because they got the offer in the mail and it was in a special envelope, kind of like the Elite, Ultra ones use to come. The person who got it is at the highest tier at our local casino so I know they spend tons. Nothing to see them spending $75 a spin all night.

Thank you for the info. My husband gambles in a sweet spot to qualify for Elite cruises but he's definitely not at the highest level. He spreads his gambling among all the lines, so not concentrated to any particular one.  We just finished our first comped Virgin cruise and it was great! Going on a comped Royal cruise in two days then a MSC end of September.

If I can find anything out I'll be sure to post it.

I've got too many good offers right now but not enough vacation time! Cruised in March, another booked for October and an Elite in January.

In the meantime maybe @lanfield would post up what their offer was?

@kwokpot Here is what I could get for info. The first pic is an offer right now. The other 2 pics were sent in the mail sometime just before covid hit. Sorry about the sideways pics.

Wow, thanks for this! So reviewing the benefits of this it's basically all the benefits of an Elite Offer (The 150 Folio credit/person is basically what the free excursion/spa credit is worth) that can be applied to any cruise, not just what Carnival deems an Elite cruise.

Have you been assigned a permanent casino host at Carnival? My husband prefers the casinos on Carnival (we were just on the Pride for 31 days and the casino was totally updated with new machines and tables, but not the rest of the ship, lol) but TBH we like Celebrity ships better. But even on Celebrity's newest ships the casinos are smaller and not as many of the fun slots as on Carnival.

We haven't been "assigned" a casino host but have met quite a few over the years and always speak to the ones we know. Even had a couple that have bought us drinks after we maxed out Cheers by 8pm. LOL

This does have a lot of the elite benefits, however you can use this on about any cruise you want and I believe you can "stack" this offer with others. I can't remember how many there are but the executive hosts on the Echo cruises are the big wigs. I want to say there is only like 4 of them? They aren't your regular hosts.

We definitely like the casino on carnival. They are a lot of fun. Did miss the slot tournament's on our last couple of cruises though.

Did your comp cruises on Royal and Virgin come from play in their casino's or URComped? I have felt stuck on for years now as I always have free suite and Elite offers to choose from. I discovered UR Comped about 5 months ago and finally getting to venture out to other lines again.  I have a Celebrity cruise booked Thanksgiving week on a comp Infinite Veranda All Inclusive and a comped Royal in February in a junior suite.  My concern is now spreading the gambling budget between lines...

Should I carry the same bankroll in as I do on Carnival on the Celebrity and Royal cruises? Obviously this would be to shoot for similar status as I do on Carnival? Or should I hold back a bit to maintain my average bankroll on upcoming Carnival cruises. I am a smoker and being able to do that makes Carnival casino's very fitting foe me. Not looking forward to the smoke free Celebrity casino..

Just curious.  I spend a bunch on carnival and usually get a bunch of casino points (between 5,000 and 8,000 a day).  I always qualify for Elite but I am wondering do they base echo on how much you spend in a year or do they base it on how much you spend a day/trip?  Do you know how your qualified?  I believe I qualified for Elite because I spend that much per day.  I could be wrong of course.

ECHO are the 80,000 plus points, $10,000 plus and/or onboard credit lines.  Top  players.  It takes more than just spending... think Caesar Rewards Seven Stars/Diamond level

I am sort of in ECHO and here is what i know.

In April, i did a 7-day Carnival cruise with my brother. Every day on the cruise, i spent at least 7 hours at the $25 blackjack table. I played mostly one hand and would guess my average bet was $250.

On the last night, i was presented a letter from the casino hosts saying that i was being assigned my own personal carnival casino host. the letter gave me an email address and told me that i should email my new host for more information about the benefits of ECHO.

As soon as i got back to land, i emailed the host and was told that ECHO starts every year in the fall (September) and i would get more information when the time came.

On that April cruise, one other person who was always at the blackjack table was a high roller (i saw him play three hands at $5k a hand on multiple occasions) and he was already in ECHO.  He told me that some of the benefits i would get are - No 3% fee on sign and sail charges in casino. $10,000 daily sign and sail limit (standard is $5,000), Table limit raised for my play to $5,000 a hand (normal table limit is $2500 a hand), ability to play 3 hands at once (normal rules say only two hands), higher on board credits and casino cash.

I just did an Alaska cruise a few weeks ago, and even though i am not yet ECHO, my casino host notified the ship that ahead of time so that i was allowed to play 3 hands, had a daily limit of $10K, and had no interest on my casino charges.

I must say that i have taken 6 Carnival cruises since the pandemic re-opened and have gambled the same on all of them.  it was not until the 5th cruise when i got the ECHO letter.  The only change was that this specific cruise was not with my wife and kids - so i spent an extra 4 hours a day in the casino.

Later this year when i get more info, i will be sure to post it.

Very accurate information. As an ECHO player, I average around 10K points per day and my bankroll is $10K+ per trip.

Husband is a big gambler and always gets Elite, but never an ECHO. We unintentionally were on an ECHO cruise earlier this year and it’s probably the least amount of time we’ve ever spent in the casino! We were on the Celebration which has a huge casino, and I’m not exaggerating when I say there was not a single slot open 90% of the time. We realized the only time to be able to actually play a machine of your liking was if you went around 6am.

Another note, the players on slots were not big betters, they just spent their entire cruise in the casino. Husband likes to play $25 a spin and prefers the high roller Dragon Links and couldn’t ever find a machine because the same people stayed on the entire cruise betting $5.

We also saw a fight, mostly yelling and shoving, breakout because someone walked away from the machine and was gone for 30 minutes so someone else pulled his card out and took his spot. His wife called security claiming that the man stole the seat and her husband had only been away for 5 mins to use the restroom.

You may have been on a premier or ultra sailing, with a crowded casino (or just unlucky on a sold out ship).

I don’t believe there are sailings specific to ECHO, rather they are similar to Elite benefits applied to any cruise.

Thank you so much!  I appreciate the information.  It will help me consider if it is worth it or not.  I may or may not go for ECHO.  I like playing at different Casinos and so I try to spread the love and it seems like ECHO might be for those who concentrate only on Carnival or have the capital to spend the excess.   I guess I could not go on cruises every month and save the money to spend the bigger bank roll.  It truly does help me consider the options.  Caesar's has been calling asking where I am.... LOL

Thank you again!!
