An update on Eta: As of 7 AM the eye of the tropical storm was more than an hour north of me - between Gainesville and Alachua - and heading towards Jacksonville. As far as I know, there is very little wind damage (mainly branches) here but some western areas of the county are without power. Shouldn't greatly affect @cat shepard in Ormond Beach. I'll have to take your word for it. With my windows open, I heard nothing and slept right through. No damage in our area and no loss of power in Alachua County that I heard of. Another potential problem - averted. 😄 2

Last night was noisy and a lot things hiring the windows but no damage. Thanks for the good wishes!

One of my favorite things to do, when it’s safe - is to head to the beach to watch the waves. And that’s the Atlantic! Your waves are just so immense in comparison! Glad you had no damage!
