How long before sail date is Carnival cancelling?

We're down to 54 days until our 14 day Journey's cruise outta Baltimore to Panama Canal. We know it ain't gonna happen, but still haven't heard anything from Carnival. How long before your sail date did you get notice of cancellation?

Giving this a bump! I'm in the same boat (ha!) at 60 days out from the Mexican Riviera on the Panorama. Don't see it happening, but waiting to cancel so we can get the OBC to move ...

We are on the P.C. 01/24/20 14 day from Galveston. Waiting to move our $ to the same cruise 10/22/22 P.C. from Galveston. Not giving them any more $. Had too many cancellations already. Some Carnival & some Royal.

Just tried to do a mock booking for my Jan 31, 2021 cruise....   It appears that Carnival has now removed all January 2021 bookings from their website.  If history is any indicator, they will officially announce that January 2021 is now cancelled sometime this week.

As we learned with the NCL Sky, cancellations related to Covid can happen just prior to departure and even after the muster drill has been completed. They will inform you sometime between now and the next 53 days whenever it is most convenient for them.

They like to wait until the very last minute to rake in as much money as they can before cancelling.  It has been the modus operandi from the beginning.

There is not a number above the zero that represents the likelihood of Carnival operating cruises out of US ports in January.

Just got our answer: CANCELLED! Our 01/24/21 14 day Panama Canal from Galveston is not sailing. We knew it wouldn't but we were waiting for them to make it official. 

Hoping for the same cruise on 10/22/2022.

Same cruise, got my cancellation at 732am.  So sad.
