Change cabin to accessible?

I originally had a cruise booked for last August, used Lift and Shift and changed to 2021. In the meantime, I have become handicapped and will probably need an accessible cabin. Will X allow me to change? This was booked through a TA so I guess I need to contact them.

You should be able to if one is available in the exact sub category where you are currently assigned, they may possibly make let you downgrade, but any upgrade would be at prevailing rates.

You should contact TA quickly since it's tough to get the accessible especially with everyone doing lift and shift.  Good luck!

We need an accessible cabin and booking one is always a chore as they are very limited. With the l&s we have been unable to find one on multiple ships. The better news is that Celebrity will do everything possible to accommodate you, even a higher category if available without gouging you with a new price.

So my TA called and got us moved at no charge. We not only moved up a deck, we were moved from very forward to mid-ship. It likely won't sail anyways (August to Alaska), but I'm really pleased with the cabin!

That is why we use a TA, accessible cabins are not always seen on sites as available. Glade it worked out.
