DaveOKC Posted December 18, 2020 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2020 HAL cancelled my March 2021 cruise over a month ago. Since it was fully paid for (casino offer and thats required), I was expecting alot of FCC. However, I was concerned since the money was from 3 different previously cancelled cruises. Today I notice that my FCC increased to $1600 pp, but it should have been around $200 pp (same for both accounts involved). Cannot figure out why not fully credited. I cannot reach my PCC since she is out of the office until after the first of the year and I really hate to call the PCC "of the day" as it would be so tough to explain all the credits. My question - has anyone had the same shortage issue recently and am I overlooking something. I checked my credit card and nothing shows up there. cruisegirl Posted December 19, 2020 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2020 This doesn’t totally respond to your issue but I wonder if you contact HAL if you can get a broken down full accounting of what you have paid and what has been refunded to your credit card. I need that because I have no idea how they are coming up with my credit amounts or if they are even accurate.
DaveOKC Posted December 23, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted December 23, 2020 UPDATE - finally was able to talk to my PCC (she has been off ill) today and we were able to figure out the issue. It seems that while the FCC was processed, there is cash being returned to my credit card of almost $1000, but it was "hung up" in processing for some unknown reason. So, if and when this cash comes in I will be square with HAL. Cannot wait for this to get squared away, as I will not book another cruise until it is (too messy).
Djptcp Posted December 28, 2020 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2020 When our original FCC finally arrived in my account after many months it was only half of what I expected. I checked my husband's account and the other half was in his account
