What is your ideal length of cruise, and how intense in ports

Love the sea days so transatlantics on Cunard are the best.  Also love sailing south from NY or Baltimore on other lines as this necessitates a good number of sea days.  
 

We try to not do short trips anymore but rather make them B2B or B2B2B!  My longest on Cunard was one summer when I was still teaching.  52 days of glorious QM2.  Katherine

It depends on the destinations. I would not do a short cruise.  My next cruises will be 28 days to the Caribbean. Finally, 6 weeks are fine for me with several port days and excursions.
