bradkristi Posted February 2, 2021 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2021 So I have onboard credit for an upcoming cruise. I was thinking a bout prepurchasing some excursions or drink packages before I cruise. Will I pay for these now or can I wait until onboard to use the OBC to pay? I would prefer to book now to ensure what I get but want to use my credit for these.
bury me at sea Posted February 2, 2021 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2021 You have to pay at the time you book the excursions, drink packages, specialty dining, etc. If you want to pay with your OBC you have to wait until you are on board to purchase. It might be reasonable not to pre-pay your gratuities, letting your OBC cover them, and to pre-purchase drink packages at a discount and pre-book excursions if you are worried about availability. Happy sailing.
Cruisesfun65 Posted February 2, 2021 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2021 It's one or the other. You can pre-order now and pay right away or wait until you're on board and use your obc. If you really prefer to buy stuff now, you could go ahead and do so and on the ship you cash out your obc ( f.e. in the casino).
