The assistant maitre will usually accomodate requests.  They will try sometimes to squeeze tables too close in the Princess Grill but usually will back down if you protest the arrangement.

The last time we sailed QG on QE the tables were really crammed together. It is only a very narrow restaurant and there were 3 tables for 2 people across and we were about 2-3 ft at the most from the table next to us.
