Celebrity App

I logged in to see in OCI was available for our August 27 Equinox cruise and was directed to download the Celebrity app.  I did and as soon as I set up my account to match the web page I was able to see our cruise.  I don't see anything for OCI yet.  Has anyone used the app for OCI yet?  It's seems the app may be the only way to do some things going forward.  I hate apps.  🤢

I didn’t see anywhere for us to check in for our July 17 Edge cruise either

Im on June 26 Edge and OCI isn't available on the app yet either. It's not you....it's just not available yet. My assumption is they are still working on something...maybe uploading proof of vaccine?!?!

I knew it wasn't me - I just hate apps on my phone in general.  Hopefully they won't end up rolling out a bug ridden product.  Princess did that with their Medallion app and it was horrible.

I poked around with what is available on the app so far and haven't crashed into a wall yet.  That's not to say it's completely intuitive but I've seen a lot worse.

I just downloaded the app, looks like this may actually be helpful. I know the website is much better since our last cruise.  😁

I used it last year to check in to my dec holiday cruise before it was canceled.

 

It works fine, no big bugs to speak  of.  

 

Its better than the website to be honest.

 

That's not to say they haven't broken it in the interim.

Last I checked, the app is functional only for some of the ships. (Had to change my original wording to avoid "the app is applicable") We are booked for next April on Solstice, which has so far not been covered by the app. My understanding was that the app only works for the Revolutionized ships, but that may be outdated information.

@ExArkiei believe the app only works at a certain point before the embarkation date.

 

it worked for reflection last year but not until some point after final payment date.
