Have you received Odyssey cabin assignment yet ?

Recommended Posts

It's crazy looks like the July cruises are waiting for cabin  assignments,  like I  said before frustrating.. 😠

Has anyone received  protocols  for the first sailing ?  Not sure if we are going to have to get tested now.  Things are changing daily.

October 3rd sailing Indy to Odyssey. Have new cabin assignment and shows up in app. Only thing that sucks is they swapped Grand Cayman for Nassau on last full day.

Ours was the same itinerary  changes.  Our July 11th cruise had the whole thing changed.  We had Labadee, Cayman  and Jamaica,  now Cozumel,  Costa Maya, Coco Cay  .   I wouldn't  have know but I  called and asked.

I’ve now received my new bookings for July 17 and Aug 14.

My Aug 14 & Sept 15 are still showing Independence. My friends Aug 8 is changed already. Who knows how they do this stuff.

I got my other Oct 17th cabin but i'll be on the phone tomorrow. We had 3 cabins on the hump  and down a few cabins from our b2b cabin.   We are now in the back of the ship both weeks on deck 13 then deck 10.  Oh well hope the hold times are less than last week.

We're on 7/11 - less than a month away now, and when I look at the Cruise Planner it still says Indy. I don't care if I'm in crews quarters, I want to be on that damned ship!

I’m with you. Still waiting fir 7/11 assignment. Was yours a comped casino cruise or full pay?

Sailing 8/8 on Odyssey (was originally Indy)

We have be assigned cabins, but don't think that RCCI is "making us whole".  On the Indy, we had 2 connected cabins (which is very important to us because of kids), while on Odyssey they are refusing to give us connecting cabins.  We have called twice now, and both times the rep goes away for a while and "asks for approval", which is denied.

And strangely, Odyssey has an entire (small) class of cabins called "Connected Ocean View Balcony" (yellow on the deck plan) which cost more without any explanation (that we can find)... even though there are many regular connected cabins in "Ocean View Balcony" that are also connecting.

RCCI is happy to have us pay $600 more for this strange new cabin class, but is refusing to give us connecting rooms in our current class.  You can even see that many of the connected cabins only have 1 of the 2 cabins assigned, so they appear to be putting people who don't need connecting cabins in those locations.  😞

Welcome to CC.

You will find that it may take several calls to fix this issue, but they should. Ask to talk to the supervisor directly and remind them the kids can't be too far away.

What ages are your kids?  At first when we were transferred over from a spacious room on indy that slept 6 they had my 5 year old on deck 8 and rest of us on deck 13.  I called and luckily our cabin on 13 was already connecting and I said well unless you connect my son I don't want that room.  The agent was so apologetic and said there is no way they can set sail without minors being next to or across from their parents.  So if your kids are minors they at least have to place them next to you or across from you, I would just keep calling until you get someone.  It was an easy peasy change for us!

I just spoke with a Casino Host making a new reservation. After he completed it, I asked him to check on my Indy to Odyssey sailing in August. He confirmed that I will be changed to Odyssey. I asked if I would still have a JS, since I had upgraded to one on Indy and he said yes.

We were booked on Independence out of Miami for August 22.  We got the original email about switching us to Odyssey but now they have us listed in our cruise planner as going on Independence out of Galveston!  We haven't received any email yet, just have checked on our cruise planner.  I have tried contacting our host, but have not heard back from him yet.  I know they are still working on things, our July 26th cruise has been switched to Freedom, everything ok there.

Well our cruise is in 31 days and nothing yet starting to get really nervous.  Not to mention b2b in Oct.  not assigned  yet.   Makes no sense to me some people have new cabin assignments for Aug, Oct  and a few in July.   Why wouldn't  Royal start with July  and work forward . I know I'm  rambling but I  am so frustrated.  I have tried calling  Casino Royale and RCL spent all together 15 hrs on hold and got zero answers.

Sadly Odyssey has been cancelled for July.

I have not received an email either, but it shows on my app and on my cruise planner (RCCL website).

Don't expect to get an email. I had to call for my Aug 8 and Aug 28 cruises. Just got my switch for Oct 3 and not expecting an email for that one either. If your cruise is not showing up in the app log out and log back in. That is what worked for me.
