Email link from post notification - sometimes leads to UK site.. ?

Almost daily (and this has been off/on for at least a few months) I'll click a link in a CC email - which takes me to the thread, but it's the .uk version -- and it asks me to sign in (it does not recognize my regular/US log in)... 

 

For example:  https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2788549-live-horizon-july-4th-john-heald-we-are-back

 

If I go to the address bar in my browser and replace the ".uk" part with "m" (to make .com), it will then go to the correct/US version of the page.

 

Anyone else get this from time to time (it can't be just me) !
