mets123 Posted July 17, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2021 How far is the distillery from the cruise port? Is there public transportation to it? How much would a taxi cost. Thanks in advance for your help.

Think the taxi fare was about $30.00 withe tip.

Foursquare will call a taxi if none available outside (usually are). Don’t make a collect booking from your arrival taxi, as your tour and tastings can then be a nice leisurely and enjoyable one. Ask when there to purchase a bottle of one of their limited release rare expressions. Any expression will not disappoint, but be warned they will not be cheap. Only share a tasting of the special bottle at home with very best friends, or not for self spoiling.🙂 If required, as an option, there may be a shared shuttle mini bus from the port that will take you to Foursquare. As you exit the cruise terminal, looking towards the exit gates, to the right are lines of shuttles. If you ask a cab captain (they usually approach you as you walk up) there must be a shuttle, if not as a destination but to pass by as a drop off. Prices should be about $5/8pp (a total tip of $5 driver tip on arrival for all your party will be appreciated) Also, there may be a shuttle passing at the end of your visit, and do think someone at Foursquare will have a shuttle friend they could call for a divert to you on their way back to post. Just ask. Have a great day. Be warned the tasting samples are not “miserly”
