AA Baggage Fees w/ NCL Air Promo

So I am using NCL's air promo which was only $75RT from DFW-FLL.  I'm on AA and normally I would get one free bag since I have their credit card.  Does anyone know if this is the case with this promotion?  Also would I still get air miles even though I only paid $75?

r -  does your credit card provide for one (1) free bag regardless of how or where you book your travel on AA and if you use that card to pay for air travel or not?

 

It may be in your best interest to call AA to get clarification on these questions, yet my best "guess" is no but YMMV, of course.

The free bag benefit is tied to your Advantage account number, which has on-file that you have the CC.  So if your FF number is in the PNR for the trip, you get the benefit.

 

As for the mileage earning....that completely depends on the fare rules for your specific tickets.

Yes- you should get free baggage with your AA credit card.  You will also receive miles for the $ amount you spent.
