E mail from Celebrity Engagement Center

Hi,

 

I am in U.K. but booked cruise with USA travel agent as I normally do.

I received an email this morning from Celebrity Engagement Center with an 0844 telephone number saying they had tried to call me with no success and to call them as they had important news to share with me. Not sure if this is a genuine e mail. I did call the number but it was unobtainable.

Anyone else had such an email?

Avoid calling 0844 numbers you will pay a premium for the pleasure. 

 

Use the 01 number from Celebrity website. Anything re your booking will be visible to them.

Better still pass this back to your TA.  If there genuinely is something important re your booking they should know about it and are the ones to engage with Celebrity. 

 

It seems unusual to me that the phone number is incorrect...However, given the present circumstances I would not ignore...

Sounds like the proverbial “we’re checking to see if we should put you in the vaccinated or unvaccinated group” phone call.  I think everyone gets them from Celebrity.

 

Still, let your TA know.  Not sure how that works with booking through the U.S. TA while living in the U.K.  Or, maybe the important phone call is actually about that very subject…..different rules for different parts of the world.
