Excursions…. Princess only? Can we book on our own?

Hi everyone.  We are on the Sky 12/11 sailing to the Western Caribbean.  Is Princess allowing excursions not booked through the ship?  Are we going to be able to explore ports on our own?   I know there was some discussion of restricting this months ago.  Thanks in advance.  Looking forward to get back into the swing of things!

Currently the only Princess cruises from the US are Seattle to Alaska.  Ship's excursions are NOT required.  Own Your Own & private excursions are allowed.

 

Since your cruise is not until Dec. & in the Caribbean, things could change.  You'll need to follow the Princess website & this CC board frequently.

Countries can make their own rules so it may not depend on Princess at all. Let's hope the recent uptick in infection rates calms down.
