AAAAmerican Posted February 17, 2006 #28 Share Posted February 17, 2006 :) What a nice saying and quote Heather in Fl. you have and so perfect a fit . She. The First Lady Elenor Roosevelt, Ph. D. earned her Doctorate in Holland at hoog de Catherine in Utrect, Holland. Her family as well her husbands, The US President were from what was then the Island of Tholen. I think that is in the Province of Zeeland or Zuid Holland. Now Tholen as most good Dutch land is, part of the mainland... And now the newest ship afloat arrives in America with the Holland America name part of Carnival Cruise Line... PS: I do hope Carnival does like RCL did/does and that is allow a big discount , to Shareholders, for Cruises, of the stock traded on the exchanges... sail7seas Posted February 17, 2006 #29 Share Posted February 17, 2006 :) I believe there is a $100 shipboard credit for shareholders of 100 or more shares of Carnival Stock. (I'm not sure the amount of the credit.....it's something like that.)
