1)  Why should I pay premium for a whisky that has a good proportion of the whisky being a cheap grain whisky, unaged, distilled on a Coffey still?

 

2)  Again, the overriding comment that everyone makes about Blue is that it is smooth.  That translates as lacking character.

 

3)  There are some decent blended whiskies, at reasonable prices, but the better single malts blow them away in flavor, complexity, under and over tones, etc, etc, etc.

 

Do you know the history of blended whisky?  Why it exists?
